Complete Charm Locations
Every charm in Hollow Knight, organized by region with detailed descriptions, notch costs, and step-by-step acquisition instructions.
Charms are special accessories that modify your abilities in Hollow Knight. Equipping them consumes notches — you start with 3 and can unlock up to 11 total. Some charms are fragile and break when you take damage, requiring repair at a bench.
Each charm consumes 1–4 notches when equipped. You can't exceed your total available notches. Manage your loadout carefully based on the situation.
Fragile charms (Heart, Greed, Strength) shatter when you take damage. They can be repaired at any bench for free. Their Unbreakable versions never break.
Equipping a charm beyond your notch capacity causes you to take double damage but allows you to use that extra charm. Useful for high-risk, high-reward play.
Charms are obtained through purchase, exploration, NPC rewards, or boss drops. Some require specific abilities before you can reach them.
Geo you collect flies toward you automatically. Essential for early-game farming and a permanent fixture in many loadouts.

Prevents knockback when landing nail attacks. Allows you to stay close to enemies for chain hits and combo attacks.
