There are 45 charms in total. Five can be traded for alternatives (Fragile Heart/Greed/Strength to their Unbreakable versions, Kingsoul to Void Heart, Grimmchild to Carefree Melody), so 40 distinct charms contribute to the 112% percentage.
Every boss (40), every charm (40), the Dream Nail, the 3 Dreamers, the 3 Colosseum trials, the Grimm Troupe and Godmaster content each add 1%. Mask shards and vessel fragments increase your survivability but do not directly add percentage.
16 mask shards. Four shards forge one mask, taking the Knight from 5 to 9 masks of health.
11 notches maximum: 3 to start plus 8 found in the world — 4 bought from Salubra, 1 in Fog Canyon, 1 in Fungal Wastes, 1 from the Colosseum and 1 from the Grimm Troupe.
